Greetings everyone! Hope this week is turning out to be swell for you! I have been super uber busy lately getting ready for my trip to Vienna Virginia for the RKC certification, so my time is pretty limited anymore with blogging. HOWEVER, I do want to go ahead and let yinz in on some pretty awesome stuff that is about to hit primalubrgher.com and the greater city of Pittsburgh. Get excited! Yinz ain’t seen nothing yet!
First, let’s talk about RKC Vienna. I believe I have FINALLY gotten over the RKC jitters. As you are all aware by now, I have been doing some lighter workouts lately to keep myself in shape and ready for the RKC certification in Vienna Virginia. After recovering from being slightly over trained (and eating outrageous amounts of food because of that) I am feeling better and have made it back to my strong self. In fact, recently found out that that whole 16kg snatch test was NOT as big of a deal as I thought it was. Remind me to take my own advice and get stronger next time. Real talk!
All my own training aside, this puts me in a particularly awesome place for when I get back from Vienna. In the coming weeks (hopefully I’ll have this all ironed out by May. No pun intended), I will be doing a ton of networking and other training related things after Vienna. I have been invited to instruct some kettlebell classes all around the city of Pittsburgh AND…brace yourself…I will be part of the staff of Pittsburgh Kettlebells post RKC Vienna.
Which brings me to the next bit of awesomeness. PITTSBURGH KETTLEBELLS IS GOING TO BE ON TV! I repeat. PITTSBURGH KETTLEBELLS IS GOING TO BE ON TV!!!! <——Can you tell I am excited? ๐ If you are in the greater Pittsburgh area, be
sure to tune in to KDKA this Friday at 9:00 am to see my trainer and a few other instructors from Pittsburgh Kettlebells live on the air demonstrating basic kettlebell drills. PS, Pittsbugh Kettlebells will be hosting an open house on April 27th 2013 from 1 to 5 pm. You will be able to meet yours truly as well as have a crash course in kettlebell lifting.
Folks, life is getting real crazy real fast, but this time, it’s crazy in a good way ๐ Please continue to follow the updates on this blog as I will be discussing my own training services in the future. Until then, remember to eat smart, train hard, and enjoy your life!
Love Always,
Janelle Pica-HKC, CPT
