What’s up everyone? If you have been following this blog over the past few days, I have been going over some fundamental exercises to progress yinz up to the kettlebell swing. Many of you have asked me about how to properly work on the kettlebell swing, but in my opinion, we need to zone in on our overall form BEFORE working on the swing (I have seen too many disturbing kettlebell swings in public. So, follow the blog this week and you’ll be mastering every nook and cranny of your routines for the swing itself. TRUST ME!).
On Monday we worked on our hip hinges and dead lift techniques. Now, lets move to the next progression for our kettlebell swing: the pendulum swing.
Side note: I would like to thank God for my iPhone agreeing with me when my camera decided to take an unnecessary (possibly permanent) nap. Cest la vie!
Be sure to work on those mini pendulum swings and if you’re feeling daring, start “popping” up int full swings for some added fun. Friday is going to be dedicated to mastering the full kettlebell swing, so stay tuned and be on the look out for that!
Remember to eat smart, train hard, and enjoy your life!
Love Always,
