Happy New Year everyone!
I am so proud of everything that has happened here at the facility in 2014. I know that without a doubt, 2015 is going to be yet another year of sheer awesome thanks to all of you as members and the rest of you who are dedicated fans! I wanted to take the time today to talk about a serious bad ass that recently came into our facility and owned every kettlebell lift like a boss! Folks, Meet Adrianna Zoscak, our newest Beast of the Month!
Adrianna came to me with a pretty impressive athletic background. As a volley ball player, Adrianna always loved the sense of competition and pushing herself to new athletic feats. After leaving college, she always struggled to find a style of exercise that best suited her body. She, just like me, dealt with the constant jump training I experienced with basketball and needed a way to get back into shape that wasn’t too stressful on her joints. Adrianna also had a background in barbell training and sought my attention since I focus on some unique double kettlebell training that she hadn’t really hear of before.
Adrianna is now the first client to get through every single lift in basic training in one session. She took to the goblet squat, swing, and get up like a champ. She was even quick to learn the snatch, clean and press as well. Granted, she did have a lifting background but I have never seen anyone really come to the facility and pick up a kettlebell so naturally before. Adrianna was also the first to quickly move into our double kettlebell power training style and has noticed her own conditioning increasing in just her first month. Adrianna still plays recreational volleyball, and said “I love how this enhances my athletic league. It’s been an incredible month and the best complimentary workout I could do on top of volleyball! It’s exciting, challenging, and just plain fun!”
Adrianna has been awarded a $25 gift certificate for the Melting Pot for her hard work! congratulations Adrianna! You are BEAST OF THE MONTH!
