2015 is off to a great start already! Today, I just wanted to inform you all about our newest calisthenic courses offered right here at Primal Fitness Pittsburgh! Ryan Williams is the master mind behind these two incredible courses, so once again, I’m going to hand over the microphone and let him get to the talking today!

Get lean and strong in 2015 with the newly revised Calisthenics Classes at Primal Fitness Pittsburgh. Calisthenics Strength and Calisthenics Conditioning classes offer a great 1-2 punch to knock out your new year’s fitness resolutions. Pair them together or choose the one most suited to your current goals.

Calisthenics Strength– This class will focus on building total body strength using isometric holds and dynamic movements in the principle categories: Horizontal/Vertical Press, Horizontal/Vertical Pull, Squat, and Leg Raises. The class will be structured in a traditional strength building set-rep scheme . A great way for beginners to perfect their form on push-ups or achieve their first pull up. For more advanced practitioners, it’s perfect for working towards nailing pistol squats and developing impressive overall strength.

Calisthenics Conditioning– This class will push your body and lungs to their limits. Compound movements performed in either a circuit or interval fashion will work every muscle and burn several hundred calories each session. There will still be an element of strength building through the use of isometric holds before the dynamic conditioning part of class. Varied movements and workout patterns will keep this class fun and interesting every time.
