Ladies and Gentlmen of the Greater City of Pittsburgh, and all yinz people of the internet 😉
WE ARE ON THE MOVE! 😀
We are on a mission and we need your help! We are under a tight deadline to relocate our studio to an affordable and convenient location. In order to continue bringing quality services to the Pittsburgh area, we have to establish our new home quick. We believe that 2016 is “The Year of the Tribe”, and we want YOU to be a part of this tribe, this revolution, this great mission here in the Greater City of Pittsburgh!
We have found a location on the South Side of Pittsburgh and are actively working with the South Side Chamber to bring our business to that neighborhood. We will be located on 9th Street and East Carson, next door to the old Sphinx Cafe. This location is seconds from the 10th street bridge, and walking distance to downtown and Station Square! The city of Pittsburgh has taken a liking to our business model and has given us the mission of strengthening the South Side. We are now part of a movement that will transition the South Side into a healthier way of life. With the use of kettlebell training, sandbag training, and calisthenic training, our goal is to start a strong and healthy revolution in the South Side to show the community how to eat smart, train hard, and enjoy their lives outside of the usual bar scene.
Owner Janelle Pica is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in addition to being a certified kettlebell instructor from through Dragon Door and Strong First. Beyond that, she’s studied calisthenics and mobility training to maximize performance and efficiency during training through a system called Ground Force Method. Janelle was once a resident of the South Side and has been very open about her lifestyle during some of the darkest years of her life. Janelle overcame a reckless way of living only to blog about it on her very first website, primalburgher.com. Her online presence grew and would eventually lead her to being featured on major websites such as balancedbites.com, eattoperform.com, and robbwolf.com. It was a miracle story in the making. The ex-partier gone kettlebell crazy caught the attention of the current realtors and South Side Chamber for her due diligence and personal commitment to dramatically changing her life. To quote our new partners specifically: “You are the perfect fit for our project, as you understand this neighborhood entirely. We need you in South Side, and we need you soon!”
We need to be on site at our New Location by April 1st, and we pledge to keep you all updated on the donations and build out of our new space. Anyone who donates will have their name etched on the walls and floor of our new studio as a token of our appreciate for your support.
