I’ve been listening to a podcast lately called “Motivation and Muscle”. My coach, the Super Human David Whitley, was recently featured on the show and talked shop on the nature of fear, and what fear does to the mind, body, and spirit. Fear has paralyzed me in a number areas of my life before, but having the time to take a step back, reflect, and meditate on the decisions I need to make, I am confident that the decision to move into the areas I am moving into are the best.
Fear. False Evidence Appearing Real. I am forever reminded by my coach that fear can work against us, or work FOR us. It’s a matter of thinking through problems and staying committed to a goal. If fear pushes you to chronic worry, you’ll never reach completion of a goal. If fear can motivate you to take action, watch your dreams come true. As my coach tells me on his calls “Think forward, not in reverse.”
David Whitley has a way with words, so I’m going to leave it to you all to tune in to his podcast here today on this incredible show.
