I am truly honored to have been granted the opportunity to participate in the 2013 Diabetes Expo at the David L Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh. If you are in the Greater City of Pittsburgh this weekend, you simply cannot miss this event. Just what all will be involved in this years Diabetes convention? Well folks, stay tuned! This blog post will explain it all!
On Saturday, November 9th between the hours of 9:30 am and 4:00 p.m.,the 2013 Diabetes Expo will be held in downtown Pittsburgh. This event is a free event that includes health screenings, cooking demonstrations, as well as service exhibits. There are a number of speakers that will be hosting talks on how to manage and prevent diabetes at the convention as well. This event is a great way to learn how to eat smart in order to take pro active steps towards managing and preventing complications associated with diabetes.
This event is even a greater opportunity to rain hard, which is where the whole functional fitness tib-bit comes into play 😉
The crew at Pittsburgh Kettlebells will be exhibiting a booth for the Pittsburgh Kettlebells studio. Myself, RKC II Kerry Swick, ad Russian Systema Instructor Jason Swanson will be readily available to answer any questions you may have about training along side us all at Pittsburgh Kettlebells. We will be demonstrating some fun and unique kettlebell drills as well as introducing you all to the basics of Russian Systema. We will also be able to sign up new members to come in for classes on a private and/or semi private basis at the studio. If you want to kick start your health and work with a team of people dedicated to your fitness success, be sure to visit us at the 2013 Diabetes Expo at the David L Lawrence Convention Center this Saturday!
I should note that I personally will not be at the convention center until 11:30 am as I will be teaching both the Circuits and Power Bell class at Pittsburgh Kettlebells early Saturday morning. However, I will be in Downtown Pittsburgh soon after to help demonstrate some lifting routines and to address any questions you all may have about signing up for classes and coaching sessions. I hope to see yinz all there! 😉
That’s all I have for you today folks! Have a great rest of the week! Remember to eat smart, train hard and enjoy your life!
