There is a a saying in our lifting community, and that saying is this: “strength has a greater purpose.” I believe without a shadow of a doubt that the very purpose strength has, beyond lifting heavy things above our heads, is a purpose founded upon loving our neighbors as ourselves. The very great purpose strength has is love, the love of oneself and the outpouring of such radiant love unto others. Through strength, we find hope to lift ourselves up through the toughest times in life, and today, I want to lift up a truly powerful opportunity for you all to not just become stronger, but work along with me to ensure you become the most powerful version of yourself.
My name is Janelle Pica, founder of Powerful Strength Systems INC. I am a dual certified kettlebell instructor through Strongfirst and Dragon Door. I have competed in power lifting competitions such as the Iron Maiden Challenge, which requires a pistol squat, single arm military press, AND weighted pull up with a 53 pound weight. Recently, I was named one of the top 100 strongest coaches in the nation because I am the only female capable of doing a string, 124 pound military press using kettlebells, which is unsustainable weight.
