Welcome to yet another foodie friendly primalburgher.com blog post! Today, I am going over one of my favorite parts of being a primal enthusiast: SMOOTHIES!
I do enjoy my occasional post work-out smoothies, and over the weekend I came up with a delicious bit of awesome that had me
texting my friends about how truly great this drinkable meal was after a good workout. I came up with my own Primal Smoothie recipe using two of my favorite ingredients, Amasai and pureed pumpkin. Check out this recepie! It is garunteed to satisfy your cravings for pumpkin pie while, at the same time, recharging you after a solid workout. Get ready! I am about to unleash a mouthwatering morsel of YUM!
Primal Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
1 cup plain Amasai
1-2 scoops Grass Fed Whey Protein
1/2-1 cup pureed pumpkin
1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1-2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
ice (optional if you want to make it frosty!)
Throw the above ingredients into a blender and PRESTO! You have something that looks just like this!
This smoothie is amazing! You can even make this in the morning for a primal smoothie on the go if you can’t find the time to make a huge breakfast. This smoothie is loaded with the right portions of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates to refuel you after a demanding workout. Plus, you get nearly 30 strains of gut friendly probiotics from the raw, fermented dairy product Amasai, which will boost your immune system and have you feeling like a million bucks! It doesn’t get any tastier than this post-workout!
