The Spooky Booty Halloween Routine!

Happy Halloween from all of us here at Primal Fitness Pittsburgh! Today, I wanted to shoot off a killer squat routine as we here at the studio are wrapping up Squatober here at the studio. We’re calling this the “Spooky Booty” routine as it is guaranteed to increase your strength in your general rump region to a level that is a little bit. . . freaky ๐Ÿ˜‰

Grab two (yes two) kettlebells and get ready for some scary strength!

The Spooky Booty Halloween Routine

1 Double Front Squat, 1 Double Jerk

2 Double Front Squats, 2 Double Jerks

3 Double Front Squats, 3 Double Jerks

4 Double Front Squats, 4 Double Jerks

 

Suggested Weights sizes

Men: 16kgs-24kgs

Women: 8kgs – 16kgs

Perform 5 rounds of the following chain and take double the rest after completing one total round of the chain. Note: If it takes you 1 minute to complete the entire routine, take two minutes of rest after completion of the round. Your goal is to maintain your grip the entire way through the chain without setting the kettlebells down until you complete the last rung.

Here’s what this routine will look like with proper grip work the whole way.
