Welcome to this Tuesday blog post brought to you by a great collaboration between Primal Fitness Pittsburgh and Battletown Atletics Ladies and gentlemen, the first ever Primal Move Workshop led by yours truly will be coming to Virginia in April!
First off, let me make something clear about this particular workshop in comparison to other Primal Move workshops you may have seen before. I spoke about my own experiences with Primal Move Workshops on the instructor end of things. There are very fun workshops for Primal Move that are geared towards people who want to become Primal Move Certified instructors. Those instructor workshops are lead by either national or global instructors. For more details on Primal Move instructor workshops, please visit this link and register for one today!
Now that I have all that out of the way, the workshop that will be lead at Battletown Athletics is NOT (repeat) NOT an instructor certification workshop. This workshop will be a breakdown of the fundamental movement patterns (squats, crawling, push up progressions, etc) that will lay the foundation for increasing your overall mobility and strength.
This Primal Move Workshop will present a game-based, play-oriented approach to the art and science of enhancing your movement skill. The Primal Move system provides a dynamic new way to effectively retrain your body to reclaim its natural ability to move with elegance, strength, power and speed. Added benefits often include: improved endurance, a reduction or removal of pain, greater energy and a radically improved sense of overall well being.
Primal Move helps puts the joy back into your exercise program—when injury, imbalances, aging or other setbacks have made “working out” a painful struggle rather than a natural source of pleasure. A primary driver for Primal Move is the importance of rolling movements to properly activate the vestibular system. Primal Move’s emphasis on rolling rebuilds movement patterns and—in an important sense—brings the body “back to full life.”
Primal Move practice is beneficial for many groups:
• Weekend warriors as a beginners program or as a full program
• Injured athletes as rehabilitation
• Athletes as a de-load program or a low intensity solution
• Older people to improve movement skills and mobility
• Children, to improve body awareness and coordination
The total cost of this workshop is $75 and space is limited! For more information on my upcoming Primal Move introductory workshop, please visit this link and contact Battletown Athletics to register today!
I cannot wait to get back to Virginia for this incredible workshop! I hope to see you all there! That’s if for the blog today folks! Until next time. . .
Master your instincts!
